Dr. Edgar Löffler Managing Director
Born in 1953. After completing his graduate studies in Medical Physics, Dr. Löffler was involved in clinical Medical Physics at the University of Tübingen and later in Würzburg, where he worked as Research Associate for Prof. Karsten Rotte, a pioneer in HDR Afterloading brachytherapy. He continued his clinical and research work at the University of Heidelberg. In 1989 he joint Nucletron B.V leading the Product Management and later the Business Development division. In 1999 he additionally became General Manager of Theranostic GmbH, a German subsidiary of Nucletron. In May 2001 he was elected as Executive Board Director by the supervisory board of Eckert & Ziegler AG and later as General Manager of Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG GmbH. With the acquisition of Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG GmbH in 2008 by IBt s.a he became Executive Director and board member. In March 2010 he was appointed as Managing Director. Dr. Löffler's responsibilities at Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG include New Business Development, Production & Purchasing and Quality. |

Abel Luzuriaga Managing DirectorBorn in 1961. Mr. Abel Luzuriaga earned a degree in Technical Engineering from Darmstadt Technical University (Technische Universität Darmstadt). He started his professional career at Asea Brown Boveri AG (Mannheim) as a Technical Engineer. Subsequently, he held management positions in International Sales in several companies (Dainippon Screen GmbH, OTESA Siemens Ecuador). Before starting at Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG as Head of Sales for France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and India in January 2011, he worked as Managing Director at Theranostic Medizintechnik GmbH, the German subsidiary of the Dutch brachytherapy specialist Nucletron B.V., for over ten years. In 2007, he also became Head of Sales for the EMEA region at Nucletron. In January 2012, he was appointed Managing Director of BEBIG, where he is responsible for Sales and Marketing. |
